Senior School

The Australian Curriculum informs both what we teach and how can we approach curriculum in Years Reception - 10 in all Learning Areas.  Our Religious Education program from R-12 is based on the Crossways Framework which has been developed by Catholic Education South Australia.  Our cross-curriculum, teaching and learning practices are also informed by The Child Protection Curriculum and the Made in the Image of God (MITIOG) Framework, and initiatives at Federal and Sector levels respectively, which support students in learning about themselves and their world throughout a variety of subjects and approaches.

Teachers plan learning experiences from these areas which enables students to gain diversity in experience of achievements at each respective year, and also prepare for future study.  As such, learning opportunities are designed to meet the developmental needs of students to equip them with the skills and knowledge to make informed choices about the culmination of their schooling in Years 11 and 12: the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

There are five classes of Year 10  which are overseen by the Year 10 Coordinator and five classes each of Year 11 and 12 overseen by the Senior School Director.
